This pond was made from the former opencast of the coal mine Krmelj. Its depths reach 5m.  You can access it from the settlement Krmelj approximately 0,6 km from the village's centre. following the macadam road.  The pond is almost entirely surrounded by forest.  Larger quantities of carps to be caught on hook are regularly being put in but it also provides home for gibel carps and roaches.
