The RD Vevče does the fishing management on the river Ljubljanica and on the canal Gruberjev prekop from the barriers in Ambrož square ( road to Roče) to the outflow of the Ljubljanica in the Sava. It is possible to fish for all the freshwater species in the waters managed by the RD Vevče ; the species that inhabit the Danube basin in Slovenia.
In these waters you can fish for huchens, trouts, graylings, pikes, zanders, common nases,Danube roaches, burbots, carps, tenches, barbels, vimba vimba fish, asps, percoidei, common rudds, roaches, bleaks and crucian carps.
