For centuries this has been original place of the castle's ponds. Only three are left and they are situated in cascades. The lower two ponds are meant for fishing. You can access them  from the main road Trebnje - Sevnica, the turn is approximately 1 km from Mokronog in direction Sevnica. The ponds are surrounded with forest on one side and with meadows on the other. The surroundings are very neatly kept and you can park your car in the little forest near the fishing cabin. The carps to be caught on hook are being put in in the pond which is home to gibel carps, grass carps and smallfish, too.
