The pond is actually an abandoned clay excavating site which was redesigned into the pond for recreational fishing. The total surface of the pond is 2,4ha.

The pond is home to carps, grass carps, crucian and silver carps, common breams and other still water fish ( Danube roaches, common rudds, chubs, pikes, zanders, catfish).It is situated near the city of Ptuj on the road from Ptuj to Radenci. It is opened for fishing all days of the week except on Mondays- it is a day for cleaning the pond and arranging the pond's surroundings.
