The Stražišče pond was overgrown by water plants but the pond was cleaned in 2009.  The shore is very  well arranged so the fishermen with disabilities can have access, too. RD Kranj has great hopes for the pond although it is not a big one, but in the future the fishermen for carps will absolutely love it. The pond has all the necessary requirements for good breeding and growth of the carps, tenches, percoidei and the other cyprinids. In 2011 the carps over 5 kg have already been caught. The pond is also a beautiful walking place to enjoy nature  surrounding it.
