The district  Savinja 7 consists of the Savinja from the outflow of the Bolska to the bridge in Kasaze and ncludes the part of the channel Podvinska struga from the pumping station in Vrbje to its outflow into the Savinja. The RD Šempeter manages this part of the river and takes care of the aquatic life for a very long time. The river offers you some great challanges in fly fishing for salmonids: brown trouts, graylings, rainbow trouts. You can fly fish or float fish for cyprinids as well: feisty barbels, chubs, Danube roaches and common nases.
