The meteor water from the Pohorje mountain flows into this pond and that's why the water is colder but more genuine, with little or no influence from farms or household sewages.n The pond is dominated by carps and pikes. It is also suitable for older fishermen becauese it can be reached by car directly.  And because it is situated between two forests  it is almost completely windless and has nice micro-climate.

The pond is situated along the old main road Maribor- Ljubljana and is surrounded with idyllic forests of the Pohorje mountain.
