The river Mura with its tributaries and backwaters is the district that spreads on the right bank of the river Mura from the cable ferry in Vučja vas to the outflow of the river Ščavnica into the Mura in Gibina including all the tributaries and backwaters.This district is cyprinid in character and is home to cyprinid fish species, mostly common nase, barbel, vimba vimba fish, chub, common dace, common bream, pike,zander,  catfish,  roach, Danube roach, burbot and other different fish which hold no interest for recreative fishing.
