The district is approximately 8 km long and mostly follows the main road from Podkoren to Mojstrana. The water is extremely clean, the width of the pebbled river basin is approximately 4 meters and it is possible to catch some rainbow, brown or brook trouts. The main features are the easy access to the river and the spectacular surroundings with a view to the Julijske Alpe and the Karavanke mountains. The water surface measures 28,2 ha.
