The warm water enables fishing throughout the year. Due to thermal water the district is home to some exotic inhabitants; even frogs can be seen. The fishing is impossible in summer and autumn because the backwater gets covered with thick layer of floating plants.

This backwater is home to chubs, catfish, carps, gibel carps, bleaks, common rudds and even tilapias.
