The fishing is allowed with one rod: except if you fish for carps, then you can use two rods with boilies, tiger nuts or briquettes but only Catch and Release. The owner of the fishing licence can take in only up to 2kg of feed on the day of the fishing. When you fish for carps Catch and Release style you must use the hand net, dehooking mat and scale. The use of free floating buoy is forbidden ( the use of "marker" is allowed). The keeping of live fish in nets is forbidden!

The eastern border is the creek Martinjščica and it continues in the straight line through the village Otok to the hills Javorniki-the western border of this district. The fishing is not allowed from the bridges or any other objects from which you cannot put the fish back into the water. The fishing in spawning places is forbidden. Due to drying up the water levels vary; but on the map you can see the largest fishing area when the lake is full-it is marked with dotted line. The full line marks the area where the water is present most of the year.
